Literacy Program

What is the Central Manitoba Literacy Program?

The Central Manitoba Literacy Program is self-paced and assists individuals in improving their numeracy, writing, reading, and digital literacy skills. Students who have been out of school for a significant amount of time, or who have never attended high school, find this program particularly helpful.

Students who enroll in the program have a variety of goals, including improving skills for personal, employment, community involvement, improving marks needed for college or university programming, or brushing up on skills before moving into our diploma program. Students may earn high school credits for work in this program if they plan on transitioning to our Adult Learning Centre programming.

Schedule

This program is highly personalized to your individual learning needs and goals, and we offer a very flexible schedule, including day, evening, and summer programming. Because learning is personalized, we offer continuous intake into this program.
