Fee Payment
Listed on this page is a list of accepted methods to pay fees, deadline dates, and information about paying tuition and fees in installments. The Tuition and Fees page provides tuition amounts and a breakdown of other fees, by program.
NOTICE OF CHANGE: Effective August 1, 2022, MITT will discontinue Wire Transfers as a method of payment. International bank transfers and online payments can continue to be made via CIBC International Student Pay OR Convera. Click here [PDF] for more information about this change.
Did You Know?
Tuition is charged on a program basis at MITT, not per course.
Payment for tuition and fees are due on the full payment deadlines noted by intake below.
The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) international students receive has an estimated dollar amount owing for tuition and fees. This amount does not include health insurance or other student fees.
The Student Portal is the most reliable place to view a breakdown of your fees*.
Once you have logged into the Student Portal, click on ‘My Billing Information’ to view your balance.
*Note: Admitted students will be able to view a personal tuition and fee statement at least 4 months prior to the program start date in the MITT Student Portal. Visit the Tuition and Fees webpage for program/intake specific tuition and fees, and supply and textbook estimates.
Methods accepted to pay your fees
Important: Online bill payments can take up to three (3) business days to process. Please allow for this time before your deadline, or a late payment fee of $100 may be applied.
Fee Payment Methods Originating Within Canada

- When prompted, enter your student ID as the account number
- Instructions for Online Banking "Skip the Line, Pay Online" [pdf]

Option #3: In-Person Payment by Interact

Information and instructions for sponsored students and sponsoring agencies can be found here.
Option #6: Rotessa Payment Plan (Available for Domestic applicants only)
Supplemental Rotessa information and the accompanying program-specific Rotessa form will be provided to eligible applicants in their offer of admission.
Fee Payment Methods Originating Outside of Canada
Option #1: Bank Transfer and Online Payment
CIBC International Student Pay offers a secure online portal for international students to make tuition payments in your local currency at competitive foreign exchange rates. A CIBC bank account is not required to send a payment on this platform.
Convera allows students to pay fees in the currency of your choice. This option is useful for students who do not have a Canadian bank account.
Option #2: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
Please use the tuition payment form [pdf] to submit your payment by credit card. Note, VisaDebit or MasterCard debit cards are not accepted.
Important note for students working with a Recruitment Agent: MITT policy does not permit Recruitment Agents to make tuition and fee payments on behalf of a student. Please pay MITT directly using one of the above options.
