Pathways are in MITT’s DNA. They’re what connect curious minds to meaningful careers, and what keeps Manitoba’s workforce moving forward.
For high school students getting a head start, adults making a bold career pivot, or pros sharpening their skills to stay ahead of the curve, MITT meets learners where they are and helps them get exactly where they want to go.
And now, we’re looking to take those pathways to the next level. Enter MITT’s Academic Plan 2025–2030—our roadmap for the next five years of growth, innovation, and real-world impact.
“MITT’s approach to learning pathways is our strategic advantage,” said Colin Kelly, Vice-President, Academic. “We serve learners from all walks of life and educational backgrounds, and we deliver education that leads directly to outcomes. That’s something we’re proud of, and this plan builds on that foundation.”
So, what’s inside the plan? It turns the big ideas from our 2025–2029 Strategic Plan Mid-Term Update into focused, forward-thinking academic action. It will help us deliver smart spending on academics, a training model that matches industry needs, and a clear path for the college’s growth and accountability.
As much as the Academic Plan focuses on KPIs and metrics, at the heart of it is a focus on people and connections.
“We’re proud to serve a diverse community for whom accessible, responsive education can be life-changing,” said Bev Stuart, Vice-President of Business Development and Community Initiatives. “As we build careers, we’re also fueling Manitoba’s growth and shaping a more skilled province.”
The vision is clear. Now it’s time to build it, teach it, and bring it to life.
