International students are required to pay tuition and mandatory fees in full before the start of your program.

Accepted Payment Methods

Some payment methods can take up to four (4) business days to reach us, so we recommend paying early to avoid any late fees. Payments received after the deadline may be considered late—even if you sent them on time.

Before choosing a payment provider, take a few minutes to review the details: service fees, processing times, terms and conditions, and how your personal information is handled. It’s also important to know whether your data is stored in or outside of Canada, and how it might be shared.

Using a third-party provider is your call, and so is managing the risks that come with it.

 

Payment Method Details
Canadian bank account – online bill payment
  • Online bill payments can take up to 3 business days to process.
  • Please submit your payment before your deadline to avoid a $100 late payment fee.
  • Step-by-step instructions are available below.
CIBC Student Pay
  • A secure online payment portal
  • Minimum $400 payment required
  • CIBC bank account is not required
  • Indicate the country/region you are paying from and the amount you are paying, and CIBC will confirm your payment options (Bank Wire, Visa, Mastercard, direct debit (EFT/ACH), China UnionPay, and WeChat and Alipay eWallets)
Convera (international students only)
  • A secure online payment portal
  • No minimum payment required
  • Indicate where your bank is located and the amount you would like to pay. Convera will confirm your payment options (may include bank transfer, credit card, etc.)
Visa or Mastercard
  • By phone 204-989-6500
  • In person at 130 Henlow Bay or 1551 Pembina Highway
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed statutory holidays)
Debit card
  • In person only at 130 Henlow Bay or 1551 Pembina Highway
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed statutory holidays)
Money order/bank draft/certified cheque
  • Payment must be in Canadian dollars
  • Payable to Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology
  • Include your student number, found on communications from us (payments received without a student number will not be processed)
  • Drop your payment off in person or mail it to: Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, 130 Henlow Bay, Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1G4
Government student loan
  • Submit proof of an approved loan along with your full name and MITT student number to admissions@mitt.ca by the proof of funding deadline indicated in the Payment and Proof of Funding section below

How to Pay Tuition Via Canadian Bank Account

Step 1

Log in to your online banking website or mobile app.

Step 2

Select Pay Bills or Bill Payments (Wording may vary).

Step 3

Choose Manage Payees and select Add Payee (Wording may vary).

Step 4

Search for and select Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology or MITT (Payee name may appear differently depending on your bank):

  • Bank of Montreal: Manitoba Institute Of Trades and Technology
  • TD Bank: Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology
  • RBC: MITT
  • Scotiabank: Manitoba Inst of Trades Tech
  • SCU: Manitoba Institute of Trades & Tech
  • CIBC: Manitoba Inst. Trade & Techlgy

Step 5

Enter your 11-digit MITT Student ID as the Account Number.

Step 6

Click Add to complete the payee setup.

Step 7

Select Pay a Bill to submit your tuition payment.
