Graduation packages will be available after you complete your program. This package includes your certificate or diploma, a final official transcript, and, for international students, a confirmation of completion letter. You will be notified when graduation packages are available.
Communication
Students will receive the following convocation information from MITT by email:
- Save the date information (approximately three months prior to ceremony date)

If you have questions, please email grad@mitt.ca.
Gown Rental and Convocation Registration
Your gown rental serves as your convocation registration. All graduates participating in a ceremony are required to rent and wear academic attire (gown, vee-stole/hood, cap, and tassel). You may keep your graduation cap and tassel.
Registration is now closed.
Graduation Photos
Lifetouch will be onsite at convocation to offer professional photography services for graduates.
Graduates may choose to purchase:
- Crossing the Stage Photo
- Studio Portraits – Individual grad photo or a family photo
(Please check with Lifetouch onsite for the maximum number of people allowed in a family photo.)
Crossing the Stage Photo
Every graduate will be photographed as they cross the stage. Purchasing this photo is optional. If you choose to purchase, the cost is $20, and a digital image will be emailed to you 1–2 weeks after convocation. Payment must be made at convocation by visiting the Lifetouch table in the lobby.
Please note: If payment is not made at convocation, you will not receive the photo, and it cannot be ordered later.
Studio Portraits
Studio portraits are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the grad gowning area. If you’d like a graduation portrait or a photo with your family, you’re welcome to visit the mini portrait studio. A $15 seating fee is required and must be paid on the day of convocation directly to the Lifetouch representative.
Proofs will be emailed to you 3–4 weeks after convocation, and you can place your order directly with Lifetouch.
Payment Options
Lifetouch accepts cash, cheque, credit, and debit cards onsite. All photo orders and payments must be completed on the day of convocation. Late orders or payments will not be accepted.
For any questions, please contact Lifetouch directly at glarea@lifetouch.com.
Visitor Visa for Out of Country Guests
If your guests are visiting Canada for your convocation, they will need a Temporary Resident Visa. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may require a letter of invitation from the graduating student.
Please note that an invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. Check IRCC’s visa processing times and plan accordingly.
You can refer to IRCC’s letter of invitation recommendations for more information.
To request your Confirmation of Enrolment, please email csr@mitt.ca.
