You’ll find support in small class sizes with experienced instructors who make the transition back into learning easy. Courses are open to adults 19 or older who have been out of regular high school for at least six months.

Choose how you want to learn. You can study in person at one of six neighbourhood centres in Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie or choose online learning that you can access from anywhere.

Winnipeg campuses

Choose from campuses spread across the city: McPhillips, Erin, St. Vital, St. Norbert, and UFCW.

Portage la Prairie campus

Located in the Portage Learning and Literacy Centre (PLLC), students can access Adult Learning Centre courses along with PLLC offerings like community supports, employment assistance services, and newcomer settlement services.

Introduction to Health Services 

The Introduction to Health Services Pathway Program empowers students to pursue employment and/or post-secondary education in critical health services careers. The program gives students advanced placement in four MITT health programs, including Health Care Aide and Personal Support Worker, Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant and Patient Care, and Rehabilitation Assistant through an internal articulation agreement.

Office Assistant

The Office Assistant Pathway Program consists of courses to help adult learners gain practical office skills to prepare for administrative careers. Learners will get advanced standing in MITT’s Administrative Assistant program, as well as an Office Assistant micro-certificate, upon completion.
