For College Students

At MITT, we believe education should be accessible to everyone. If you have a disability or require additional learning support, our Accessibility Services team is here to help.

How we help:

• Develop customized accommodation plans based on your needs.
• Provide services like extended exam times, note-taking assistance, or adaptive technologies.
• Guide you through funding opportunities such as accessibility grants and bursaries.

When to contact Accessibility Services:

• As soon as you’re accepted to your program. Starting early ensures we have everything in place for your success.

What’s involved:

1. Schedule an appointment with our Accessibility Services team.
2. Provide relevant documentation about your needs.
3. Work with our team to create a personalized support plan.

For Sponsoring Agencies

We work closely with agencies like the Workers Compensation Board (WCB), Employability Assistance for People with Disabilities (EAPD), Training and Employment Services (TES), and Manitoba possible to ensure students have a smooth transition into MITT programs.

We’ll collaborate to:

• Understand the student’s unique needs
• Coordinate accommodations and support plans
• Ensure everything is in place for day one

For High School Students

MITT’s Student Services team works with the Pembina Trails School Division to support high school students attending MITT. We’ll help coordinate adaptations and modifications so students start the school year with confidence and support in place.
