As we prepare for the start of the fall term, we want to reassure MITT students that our focus remains on supporting your success and helping you complete your program as planned.
As we shared earlier in June, we are working collaboratively with RRC Polytech on what delivery will look like for new RRC Polytech students and continuing MITT students in the fall – from campus hours of operation to locker rentals to classroom use. These plans are designed to ensure you continue to receive the support, resources, and information you need.
For current MITT students, there is no change to your ability to complete your program. You will continue your studies at MITT and, upon successful completion of your program, will receive an MITT credential. We are working with RRC Polytech to ensure appropriate staffing plans are in place for every program to support student success.
We are also updating the MITT website to better support current students during this period. The site will increasingly focus on student services, program information, important dates, graduation details, campus resources, and other information current MITT students may need. This will also be a place where students can access information like transcripts and other important documents.
Each week, we will provide updates so you have a clear understanding of what to expect on campus. These updates will be shared by email and posted to the Latest News and the MITT Transition page on our website.
If you have questions or concerns at any time, please reach out to transition@rrc.ca, and we will connect you with the appropriate team for support and answers.
We know that this transition has been a difficult time for our community. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued commitment to your studies. We remain dedicated to helping every student achieve their educational goals and complete their program successfully.
