Parking operations at South Winnipeg Campus have transitioned to RRC Polytech. For the Fall 2026 term, the current staff and student parking lot structure and fees will remain in place, and students should continue parking in their existing designated student lots.
Students who are already paying for monthly parking do not need to take action at this time. Your existing permits will continue while RRC Polytech completes the required validation work.
South Winnipeg Campus students who require parking, including RRC Polytech and MITT students, should email parking@rrc.ca for enrollment instructions.
We recognize that August will be a transition period. RRC Polytech will work with current MITT students while parking and validation information is updated, allowing time to complete any required steps before regular enforcement expectations are fully applied.
Parking Changes and Fee Updates – January 2027
Beginning January 1, 2027, a standard parking rate will be implemented across all RRC Polytech-operated parking lots. All staff and students will pay the same monthly parking rate of $70 plus GST per month, creating a consistent parking program across campuses.
The current separation of staff and student parking lots will be removed, and all spaces will move to a scramble parking system.
Daily and visitor parking rates will also be adjusted to the rate of $2.25/hour, or $9.00 for the day.
Additional information and reminders about the new rates will be shared with staff, faculty, and students in advance of the January implementation date.
Summarizing parking rates and practices at South Winnipeg Campus:
For Fall 2026, the existing parking rates and practices at South Winnipeg Campus will remain in place and permits will be available to students for $25 per month. Beginning January 1, 2027, all staff and students at the South Winnipeg Campus will transition to RRC Polytech’s parking program, with parking available at a monthly rate of $70 plus GST, and a daily or visitor rate of $2.25 per hour up to a maximum of $9.00 per day.
