A Few Tips

  • Familiarize yourself with Zoom. This is the app you will use for online orientation.
  • Make sure your computer and internet connection are working a few days before orientation and classes begin.
  • You do not need to create a Zoom account to participate in meetings.
  • Attendance will still be taken daily.
  • Ask questions early and often! Student Services and our team of student advisors can help you by phone, email and Zoom.
  • Check this page for up to date information on Orientation and mitt.ca for college updates.

Winter Orientation Schedule

International Students (Post-Secondary)

Wednesday, January 13 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 14 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday, January 15 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Domestic Students (Post-Secondary)

  • If you are a domestic student attending Intro to College, please refer to the International Students (Post-Secondary) schedule above.
Thursday, January 28 12:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Friday, January 29 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

High School Students

If you are a secondary student from one the following school division

  • Pembina Trails, Louis Riel & Sanford
  • And will be visiting MITT for half day technical training
Monday, February 1 In-class

Note: If you are MITT High School, Division scolaire franco-manitobaine (DSFM) or a high-school student attending a full-day program at MITT, please refer to the Orientation information for Domestic Students (Post-Secondary).
