MITT student groups are a great way to connect with other students who share your interests and passions. Explore our student groups below and find the one that’s right for you.

MITT’s Indigenous Student’s Circle (ISC) is open to all students who wish to participate in Indigenous cultural events. The group meets monthly at the Aazhogan Indigenous Centre on Henlow Campus and hosts many events in conjunction with other MITT student groups and national Indigenous campaigns.
MITT Pride strives to empower 2SLGBTQIA+ students and staff by providing opportunities to socialize, support each other, and create a safe and accepting campus community. Allies, supporters, and anyone committed to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ people are welcome to participate and join.
2SLGBTQIA+: Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual/aromantic, and all other marginalized groups under the diverse umbrella of gender identity and sexual orientation.

MITTpreneur is a student group for entrepreneurship and introduces students to the world of starting and owning their own business. Gather with like-minded students to explore how to create business ideas, formulate business plans, learn how to register your business, and more.
This group features guest speakers and other outside resources, along with social activities. Come learn how to transform your MITT studies into a business opportunity.

The MITT Volunteer Program (MVP) gives students the chance to gain invaluable volunteer experience and develop new skills.

Professionals in Health Care facilitates student discussions on health care and allows students to collaborate on areas of interest within the health field. The group meets regularly at MITT’s Pembina Campus, and it is a great opportunity for students to find creative ways to stay connected, support one another, and have fun learning together. PiH also strives to give back to the community in various ways.

Women in Trades and Technology is comprised of women who have come to MITT to pursue their interest in trades and technology. WITT’s goal is to provide women with support and guidance on their paths toward successful careers in their fields.
Through monthly meetings and on-campus volunteer opportunities, WITT provides its members with opportunities to network, share their knowledge, discuss current issues, offer support and resources, and gain workplace-relevant skills that will help them as they enter the workforce.
