Kick-start your career at the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT). We offer more than 30 post-secondary programs leading to diplomas and certificates in the areas of applied business, design and manufacturing technologies, health care, human services, information and communication technology and skilled trades, with many of our skilled trades programs accredited by Apprenticeship Manitoba.
Most of our programs take less than a year to complete, with multiple intake dates so you can start at a time that works best for you.

Tuition at MITT is competitive. With a low cost of living compared to other Canadian cities, Winnipeg is an affordable place to live and study. MITT scholarships and bursaries are available and can help cover tuition and living expenses. Our programs are also eligible for government student loans.

Programs include hands-on learning where you will practice your skills in modern simulation labs using state-of-the-art industry tools and equipment. 70 per cent of programs include a work practicum of up to 21 weeks with a local employer.
