Why MITT?
Your experience is our focus
It’s your journey, and we’re here for it. That’s shown in our programs, our people, and the welcoming vibe that makes you want to stick around. No matter who you are, our affordable programs, small campuses, dedicated cohorts, and diverse student community make MITT a place where you’ll belong.
You’ll learn from people that know the industry
We don’t assume what skills you’ll need. We ask employers what they need and design our programs around what they tell us. And when it comes to learning, you’re in expert hands. Our instructors are seasoned industry pros who bring real-world experience to the classroom, offering one-on-one guidance and insider know-how every step of the way.
You’ll be ready for your career
Our programs are laser-focused on getting you hired. You’ll walk into your first day on the job with plenty of experience thanks to hands-on practice in labs and classrooms, and on-the-job placements with local employers (75% of our programs have them). Plus, we’ve got your back when it comes to career development. We’ll help you explore your career options and connect with job opportunities while you’re here and after you graduate.

A government student loan issued through the province of residence, or the Government of Canada can help cover the cost of tuition and living expenses while you study.
Government loans are easy to apply for online. They consider all study and living costs and automatically link students to grants and bursaries that do not need to be repaid.
When it comes time to repay a government student loan, the interest rate and payment options are flexible and affordable compared to loans from other types of lenders.
Please visit Student Loans and Manitoba Student Aid for more information.
MITT offers several bursaries, scholarships and awards that can help offset expenses while studying in our programs. Bursaries are offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms each year for students with a demonstrated financial need who meet the minimum academic standing.
Every year, millions of dollars are donated by organizations across the country for entrance scholarships. Future MITT students are encouraged to research and apply for every scholarship and award opportunity where they meet some or all of the selection criteria. For a list of opportunities, go to Financial Aid and Awards.
