For Fall 2025, MITT will offer the Network and Systems Administrator Diploma program in partnership with the City of Morden and the Morden Community Development Corporation. This program will deliver MITT's quality education programming in Morden, Manitoba, connecting students in the area with hands-on learning in information and communication technology and practicum experiences with local employers.

The NSA program provides learners with comprehensive skills in Information Technology infrastructure design and support. Students apply their learning in hands-on advanced labs outfitted with industry-grade hardware and software from universally recognized technology leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, and Red Hat. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to perform tasks related to networking, routing, switching, on-prem and cloud server administration, as well as essential remote access, communication, and messaging technologies.

The NSA program offers curriculum and certification pathways from leading vendor academy partners in Information and Communication Technology education, such as:

  • Cisco Networking Academy
  • Microsoft Learn for Educators
  • CompTIA
  • Red Hat Academy

Students in the NSA program are prepared to write industry certification exams such as:

  • Cisco CCNA-Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions
  • AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • CompTIA Server+
  • CompTIA A+

MITT students can choose to write their certification exams at MITT's Test Centre. The cost of certification exams is not included in tuition, but MITT students and alumni are eligible for discounted pricing through our partners.

Eligible students participate in a 15-week work practicum placement in the computer industry with a local business in the Pembina Valley Region. The Work Practicum is an integral pathway to transition students from the MITT learning environment to the workplace. It offers students the opportunity to gain industry-relevant experience with a recognized employer, build on their technical skills while increasing confidence, employability, and job readiness, and make valuable contacts.

All students participate in MITT’s Bridging to Work workshops, which provide them with a foundation in the employability and essential skills employers demand.
