Supply chain and logistics professionals manage every aspect of the selection, purchasing, transporting, and distributing of products and services to and from locations around the world. The diploma program introduces students to the essential business management and supply chain skills needed to become an effective professional in this expanding sector.

MITT’s Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Supply Chain Management provides students with the basic business and supply chain skills needed to become effective professionals in this expanding business sector. Topics of study include procurement, logistics, leadership, accounting and project management.

With evening course times, this program is designed for working professionals to advance their careers.

MITT’s Global Supply Chain Management program has been developed in association with Supply Chain Canada and Supply Chain Management Association – Manitoba in order to best prepare students for employment and professional recognition within those industries.

Completion of the diploma meets the majority of the criteria for Supply Chain Canada’s Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation program, the standard for professionals working in the field.

Our diploma coursework is designed to include all of the required 14 modules and interactive workshops* that make up the SCMP program, and successful completion at MITT achieves advance standing towards the professional designation.

Who it is for

Prospective students who enjoy multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Taking initiative, working both as part of a team and independently, and understanding the global market should be interests of the student.

Students who complete MITT's Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Management, and want to extend and focus their studies in order to specialize in a dynamic field of international business.

Entrance requirements

  • An undergraduate diploma or degree in business, commerce or a related discipline, with good academic standing, from an accredited institution; OR:
  •  MITT Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Management* (12 months)

  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time undergraduate level coursework from an accredited institution, including credits in related course topics or subjects (such as Business, Accounting, Finance, Communication, Economics, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour), may be considered

And:

Preferred Admission Criteria (There may be a competitive admissions process for entry to this program; meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission)

  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant work experience as demonstrated on résumé or CV.

*The Business Management certificate can be used as a prerequisite for admission to MITT Post-Graduate Diploma programs. Students that complete this 12-month program will receive advanced standing for the first term of a diploma. That means you will already have the credits for the first four courses, and will earn a one-term scheduled academic break before continuing your studies.
