Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a highly recommended and a sought-after skill set, representing one of the fastest growing cyber credentials required by computer infrastructures and essential service providers. In order to maintain relevancy, CEH constantly reviews hacker behaviors and modifies curriculum and deliveries to respond to the latest threats and strengthen system security controls to minimize the risk of an incident.
Operating with permission from the system owners, a CEH utilizes similar methodologies employed by a malicious hacker to challenge system security to gain access to critical data and attack computer systems to uncover vulnerabilities.
Courseware provided in partnership with EC-Council.
To achieve the CEH Micro-Credential, course participants have 60 calendar days to challenge the CEH exam via EC-Council, and to submit a copy of their exam certificate to LifelongLearning@mitt.ca. Extensions for writing the exam and/or providing the exam certificate will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administration fee of $100.
Students should be aware that if they persue an occupation in cyber security they should be able to successfully pass a criminal record check at the organization they wish to work for.
