Culinary Arts graduates usually start as short order cooks, line cooks and fast food workers, but can quickly earn institutional cook and/or restaurant cook status after several years of experience. Additional training and additional years of experience can lead to sous-chef positions, which can ultimately lead to chef and executive chef positions.
