MITT’s Open House on February 20 is your chance to get an inside look at MITT and what life is like at the college. With more than 30 post-secondary programs to explore across three campuses, expert instructors ready to provide information on their programs, and support staff eager to educate you on our student services, it can be a lot to take in.
To help you make the most of your Open House visit, we’ve put together a first-time visitor’s guide. These tips will ensure you get the information you need to find the MITT program that is right for you and give you a great experience at the event.
- Plan for your visit
Creating a plan is the best way to see everything on your list and to know where to find it. MITT.ca/OpenHouse provides a complete listing of the programs offered at each campus and answers commonly asked questions like “Do I have to register in advance?” - Bring a friend or family member
It can be overwhelming to absorb all the information at an Open House on your own. Bring someone along to bounce ideas off, compare notes with, or just keep you company. Everyone is welcome to attend! - Ask questions
Our staff and instructors are here to answer any questions you have about our programs, financial support, student services, and more. Don’t hesitate to ask.
If you have questions before Open House, you can reach out to our recruitment team at recruitment@mitt.ca. - Utilize our shuttle service
Are you interested in exploring multiple campuses? We offer a shuttle service that will run between our Henlow and Pembina campuses throughout the event. The full shuttle schedule will be available on-site at each campus. - Try it for yourself
At MITT, we believe in learning by doing, and that applies to our Open House too. You’ll get to see, feel, smell, and taste your way through our programs by taking in demonstrations and displays and participating in games and hands-on activities.
