Start your career in welding with the Women of Steel™: Forging Forward program.

This tuition-free program aims to encourage more women, those that identify as women, and non-binary individuals to choose careers in welding and welding-related industries.

Get hands-on skills training in MITT’s recently-expanded, state-of-the-art weld shop. Learn multiple welding positions and processes, how to safely use hand and power tools, trades math, and more. Participate in a three-week work practicum and apply your training to real-world situations.

Women of Steel: Forging Forward is presented in partnership with CWB Welding Foundation and is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Adult Learning and Literacy and Essential Skills – Women Employment Readiness Program.
