English Language Proficiency

English is the primary language of instruction at MITT. In order to be successful in a program, it is important for all students to have a level of English proficiency that will allow them to participate in all aspects of the program. As such, an applicant whose primary language is not English or who is not from an English exempt country, must demonstrate English Language Proficiency.

Applications submitted without supporting documentation demonstrating English Language Proficiency will be deemed as ineligible for admission unless accompanied by an appication to MITT's English Language Institute

Proficiency in English may be demonstrated by one of the following methods:

Please review the program categories1 to determine the specific English Language Proficiency requirements that must be met for each MITT program. Not all programs accept all proficiency methods, so it is important to refer to the specific program category to determine what methods of English Language proficiency are accepted.
