  5. MITT offers intakes for domestic students in Fall, Winter and Spring. 7. The ideal situation for a student is to cover their tuition and living costs with personal savings and/or family support. This is ideal, but not always possible. However, lack of financial support should not be a barrier to entering full-time studies.

The next best option to help students cover their expenses while studying is a government student loan issued through their province of residence and the Government of Canada.

Government loans are easy to apply for online, take all study and living costs into account, and automatically link students to grants and bursaries that do not need to be repaid. When it comes time to repay your government student loan, the interest rate and payment options are very flexible and affordable compared to other types of lenders.

For further details about student loans, please visit Student Loans and Manitoba Student Aid
  8. Entrance requirements vary by program and student type. For program-specific entrance requirements, please visit Program Listing, Program Specific Requirements and English Language Proficiency.
  9. MITT offers a number of bursaries, scholarships and awards that can help offset your expenses while studying in our programs. Bursaries are offered in the fall, winter and spring terms each year for students with a demonstrated financial need and minimum academic standing.

Every year, millions of dollars are donated by organizations across the country for entrance scholarships. Future MITT students are encouraged to research and apply for every scholarship and award opportunity where they meet some or all of the selection criteria.
