Programs

The new Client Service Specialist Certificate (CSSC) is a distinctive program MITT has developed in partnership with the Manitoba Tourism Education Council (MTEC). These individuals can implement a variety of transferable skills (i.e. communication) to provide outstanding customers service to new and repeat clients.

The Early Childhood Education program is designed for students who desire to work as Early Childhood Educator IIs (ECE IIs) in pre-schools, nursery schools, Headstart programs, and other Child and Family resource facilities.

The MITT diploma in Hospitality Management prepares you for the next step as supervisors and managers using a smart, practical approach to business training. It combines leadership theory with hands-on training, plus professional work exposure.

The Hotel and Hospitality Services program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the hotel and hospitality industry in Canada. The students will receive Emerit training which was developed and tested by tourism sector employees, employers, and educators from across Canada and is based on industry-defined occupational standards that are internationally recognized.
