MITT High School is an excellent choice for students looking to complete their high school diploma and at the same time get a head start developing knowledge and skills for entry into high-demand trade or technical careers.

This two-year program is for students entering Grades 11 and 12.

How does it work?

Students spend half of each day in their technical program with a dedicated cohort of high school-aged learners. For the other half of the day, they join fellow MITT High School students from across technical programs, led by a dedicated instructor, for the following academic programming:

English Language Arts 30S/40S
History of Canada (30F)
Mathematics 30S/40S
Physical/Health Education 30F/40F

Web-based courses from the Department of Education are available for students seeking additional credits.

Some technical program classrooms are a blend of high and postsecondary students.

What do I earn after completion?

Students earn a Manitoba high school diploma from the Senior Years Technology Education Program, which they can use toward entrance into college or university, and an MITT certificate.
