Meagan Halowaty-Essar – Director, Student Recruitment
With over 15 years of career experience in the post-secondary landscape, Meagan Halowaty-Essar leads the MITT recruitment team through strategic directives and adaptive leadership with a strong emphasis on student experience. A born-and-raised Manitoban and a first-generation university student, Meagan is passionate about reducing barriers to higher education, while highlighting exciting learning and career pathways in Manitoba that can lead to a world of opportunity. With multiple international development and study experiences, a strong background in sustainable tourism and Canadian hospitality, and her Regulated Citizenship and Immigration Consultant (RCIC) designation, Meagan serves as a strong advocate for students of all backgrounds.
Maryam Razzaq – Manager, Student Recruitment
As Manager of Recruitment at MITT, Maryam Razzaq is passionate about connecting students with transformative educational opportunities that help them achieve their career goals. With a background in career development and experiential learning higher education, she brings years of experience supporting students through meaningful guidance, programming, and community engagement. Maryam is driven by a genuine commitment to helping individuals realize their potential and thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment. Her approach is rooted in authenticity, care, and a deep belief in the power of education to change lives.
Kimberly Charles – Recruitment Officer
Kimberly Charles is a Student Recruiter with more than eight years of experience in office administration, tutoring, and teaching. She’s passionate about using these skills to help you find the perfect fit at MITT. Understanding that post-secondary education can be overwhelming, Kimberly – having navigated both college and university herself – is honoured to guide you through your journey, from exploring our programs to proudly walking across the stage with a certificate in hand.
Cristina Pausal – International Student Recruitment Officer
As a Student Recruitment Officer at MITT, Christina Pausal is deeply passionate about helping others and supporting students as they take meaningful steps toward achieving their future goals. As a former international student who graduated from MITT, she finds great fulfillment in sharing her knowledge and experiences to guide future students – particularly international students – as they embark on their educational journey. She carries ten years of experience in business process outsourcing and administration for the global market, and three years of experience as a Client Service Representative at MITT.
Zariah Pavagadhi – Indigenous Community Liasion Officer

Anna Lee – Agent Relations Coordinator
As the Agent Relations Coordinator, Anna serves as the key liaison between MITT and global recruitment partners. Born and educated in Korea, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Education and spent over two decades in Thailand in the international airline industry.
After relocating to Canada and completing a post-graduate certificate in International Business at MITT, she joined the Recruitment team with a commitment to supporting international students and empowering global recruitment agent partners. With a solid foundation in cross cultural communication, operational excellence, and stakeholder relationship management, she takes pride in building impactful and culturally responsive connections with the global recruitment agents, institutions, and students.
Kristina Lonstrup – Career Pathways Officer
Kristina Lonstrup brings over 12 years of experience in career counselling to her role as Career Pathways Officer. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options, are feeling unsure about your direction, or are looking for guidance on next steps, she’s here to help you discover your strengths, explore career possibilities, and find a path that’s just right for you.
She’s also an expert in supporting students with funding information, application processes, and general questions about MITT. In essence, her goal is to help you envision where you belong and to make your educational journey easier.
