ESL classes use Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) and Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA) models, as well as a MITT ESL model known as Pathways 2 Education & Employment (P2EE). The P2EE ensures that employment and education are regularly included in all language learning. This ensures the highest number of clients benefit by increasing employment knowledge while developing all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Several events are planned throughout the year as part of P2EE to enhance knowledge and skills related to employment.
