Co-op Work Placement
At MITT, learning extends beyond the classroom. Through our co-operative education program (co-op), students gain valuable workplace essential skills in positions related to their fields of study. Co-op is collaborative - students, employers and the institute all play a part. We also offer a Work Experience Program option.
Employers: You'll benefit from students' skills and fresh ideas, cost-effective recruitment, exposure for your business and engagement with MITT. We also provide information on how to access provincial government tax credits for hiring students in co-op programs.
Students: You'll graduate with great skills and relevant work experience, contacts in your field, extra cash and a better chance of career success right after graduation.
