Graduation and Convocation

Graduation Packages

Students will receive their graduation package following the completion of their program. This package includes their certificate or diploma, a final official transcript, and, for international students, a confirmation of completion letter. Students will be notified when graduation packages are available.

Convocation Ceremonies 2024

Convocation 2024 planning is underway and dates are below. Details about graduation and convocation will be sent to students by email. If you have questions, please email 

Spring Ceremony: Wednesday, June 19, 2024

The following students will be celebrated at Spring 2024 Convocation:

  • Students who completed their post-secondary program between June 24, 2023, and April 30, 2024
  • Students who completed their high school program by June 21, 2024

Students will receive by email:

  • March - save the date information
  • April/May – gown rental and ceremony registration instructions
  • June – ceremony guidelines for students and guests

Fall Ceremony: Wednesday, October 30, 2024

MITT students who complete their program between May 1, 2024, and August 31, 2024 will be celebrated at Fall 2024 Convocation. Several ceremonies will be held on October 30, with specific programs assigned to each ceremony. Continue to check this webpage for ceremony times and listings of programs assigned to each ceremony.


Our primary method of communication with students is through email. Students are encouraged to review and update their personal email and mailing addresses in their Student Portal Account.

Gown Rental and Ceremony Registration

All graduates participating in a ceremony are required to rent and wear academic attire (gown, cap, and tassel).

Gown rental information will be added at a later date.

Graduation Photos

Graduation portraits and other photo opportunities, including photos of graduates crossing the stage, will be available at the convocation ceremony.

Guidelines for Students and Guests

Convocation is a unique ceremony that balances formality with celebration. MITT provides the following guidelines to help ensure you and your guests have a memorable experience.

MITT convocation ceremonies are a public event. Photographs and/or video and/or audio recordings of this event may be produced. The photographs and/or video may include your recognizable image. By participating in this event, you consent to being photographed, videotaped, and/or audio recorded and you authorize MITT to use the photographs, videos, and/or audio recordings in its activities, at its events, and in its promotional material, in print or electronic format, including on the internet via the college’s website or other social media websites.
