How long do I need to wait before I can obtain another exchange rate quote?

Can I pay in any other currency other than my home currency?
Yes. We recommend making payments in your home currency due to the preferred foreign exchange rates CIBC offers, but you will have the option to make payments in USD, CAD along with other major currencies.

Yes. There is an option to select to pay in Canadian Dollars (CAD) on the Payment Options page. If CAD is selected, you will be charged a 1.25% non-refundable administrative fee.
If you choose to select another currency on the portal and then decide at your local bank that your local bank will complete the foreign exchange conversion and pay in CAD, CIBC will still charge the 1.25% non-refundable administrative fee as the portal instructions were not followed and your payment amount will be short to MITT.
