Important: Due to the challenges raised by COVID-19, MITT reserves the right to alter course delivery methods and/or program durations for current and future intakes. Course deliveries may require increased percentages of online/distance learning components, alternatives to work practicums, and extended program durations to accommodate physical distancing and work practicum placement restrictions.

In light of this, MITT will be providing enhanced student and program supports to ensure this modified program experience continues to meet all required learning outcomes for your program.

Important Information for Winter 2021 International Applicants

Out of an abundance of caution and to safeguard our international applicants at this challenging time, for Winter 2021 programs, MITT will only process international applications with a valid Canadian study permit or study permit approval, and will use IRCC study permit processing times and Visa Application Centre accessibility to guide admissions decisions. Students completing a prerequisite program in Canada with a study permit application in process will also be prioritized – this includes students completing MITT’s English for Academic Purposes programs at the English Language Institute.

As of October 19, 2020 applications submitted to a Winter 2021 program without a study permit, study permit approval (e.g. Port of Entry Letter of Introduction) or without implied status (Proof of an in-Canada study permit application submitted before the previous study permit expired) will not be processed and will not be considered for future intakes*Application fees are non-refundable.

*This does not apply to English for Academic Purposes programs
