The Portage Learning and Literacy Centre (PLLC) is a not-for-profit organization providing individuals of the Central Plains Region an opportunity to realize their individual literacy, educational, employment and life goals through a positive learning environment. These services include the Mature Grade 12 Diploma Program and the Adult Literacy Program. We have an on-site daycare to accommodate adult learners. PLLC welcomes newcomers with our Settlement Services Program and delivers English as an Additional Language classes. PLLC also offers Employment Readiness Services. At various times of the year, PLLC offers Money Management in partnership with SEED Winnipeg, and Power-Up computer classes in partnership with the Department on the Status of Women.
