The Academic Plan for the next five years is founded on MITT’s core values of Student-Focused, Industry-Driven, Employee-Centred, and Respect and Inclusion. Our vision is to create an inclusive, supportive, learner-focused environment guided by industry and recognized for excellence in academic and employment preparation. As we look to the future, we aim to evolve our campuses and services to meet the changing needs of our current and future learners.

The Academic Plan has four priorities—Our Programs, Our People, Our Place, and Our Processes—that centre on:

• providing an exceptional learner experience that recognizes the changing needs of our learners and the diversity of our learner population;
• Recognizing MITT’s role in promoting and advocating for the needs of the Indigenous population; and
• Responding to existing and emerging industry needs.

With a focus on these priorities, we will continue to assess, reflect, and adapt to the obstacles and opportunities that arise to create the best learning experience for the MITT community.
