Cindee Laverge appointed Vice-President, Finance and Campus Services at MITT

Cindee Laverge has joined the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) as the Vice-President, Finance and Campus Services.

We’re incredibly pleased to have someone with such a depth of financial and campus planning knowledge, strategic leadership, and commitment to the student experience join our college.”

Laverge comes to MITT with over thirty years of service in various educational and administrative capacities. Most recently, she served as the Chief Administrative Officer at the University College of the North (UCN), where she oversaw the institution’s multifaceted operations and strived to reflect the rich cultural diversity and Indigenous reality of Northern Manitoba.

Prior to her role at UCN, Laverge held prominent positions at renowned educational institutions and professional organizations. She spent more than three decades at Red River College (RRC) Polytech, showcasing a remarkable commitment to enhancing student services and fostering institutional excellence in roles including the Acting Vice President of Student Services and Planning and Dean of Student Services.

As the Chair of CPA Manitoba, Laverge played a pivotal role in enhancing governance practices, fostering public confidence in the CPA profession, and advocating for the public interest.
