In-person returns, virtual continues for prospective students

February will be a busy month at MITT as we present virtual and in-person events for our annual Open House.

First up for Manitoba students and families is the Virtual Open House on Wednesday, February 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Join us from the comfort of your home as you gain an online all-access pass to MITT. Watch presentations, and take virtual tours of classrooms and labs. Teams from across our college, including Career and Employment Services, Student Life, and Admissions, will be available for group chats and one-on-one conversations, so come prepared to have all your questions about MITT answered.

Following the Virtual Open House, our Henlow, Pembina and Fultz campuses will host the In-Person Open House on Thursday, February 23, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Take a walk through MITT and get a taste of our programs as instructors and students demonstrate the hands-on learning that takes place in our classrooms and labs. Talk in groups and have one-on-one conversations with support staff to learn about life on campus and the services available to our students. Our admissions staff will also be available to talk about how to submit your application.

Our high school, adult learning and CyberWave staff are also part of MITT Open House. Each department will speak with you about the benefits of learning at MITT.

Join us for the virtual event, in-person or both. Register at MITT.ca/openhouse.

Connecting internationally

The MITT International Open House will take place on Tuesday, February 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CDT.

Staff from across MITT will be available to speak with students interested in learning more about MITT and our 30-plus post-secondary programs. Learn about applying for visas and settling in Winnipeg from our immigration services advisor, find information about English language proficiency and much more. You will also hear from past and present students who chose MITT and have found a new home in Canada.

Students and their families can register for International Open House at MITT.ca/internationalopenhouse.
