A celebratory lunch was held in honour of students who competed on behalf of MITT in the 2017 Skills Manitoba event. This year, MITT won 15 medals (four gold, six silver, and five bronze) and swept three categories. Three of MITT’s four gold medalists Kelvin Michaud, Najla Walizada, and Tobi Winkler are currently representing the province on the national stage at the Skills Canada National Competition (May 31 – June 3), right here in Winnipeg. We wish our competitors the best and hope the hometown crowd helps root them on to victory.
