Automotive Mechanics start as apprentices, but once apprenticeship is obtained, graduates can gain positions as a red seal automotive mechanic, a foreperson or service adviser. For a technician with business skills, ownership of an automotive repair shop is a possibility. A career as a technician also serves as a good preparation for running a car dealership, auto parts store, or service station.

The Motosport Technician program provides students with the knowledge to develop skills in tool and equipment operation required to maintain, repair or rebuild motorcycles, snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles.
