Motosport professionals and enthusiasts are gathering today at the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) to honour Joe Sawtus, a legend of their profession, and to support its future in Manitoba with a cheque for nearly $15,000 towards the Joe Sawtus and Canadian Motorcycle Bursary Fund.

With regards to a possible disruption in postal service in Canada, Manitoba Student Aid released the following message:
"Due to the current uncertainty of mail delivery as we enter into one of our busiest times of the year, Manitoba Student Aid (MSA) has made the decision to discontinue printing and mailing Notice of Assistance letters. Students will receive an email and be directed to log on to their online portal also known as My Student Aid Online (MySAO) to print their documents."

On Wednesday June 22 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) held their 30th annual Convocation ceremony for the 2016 graduating class. Over 800 graduates from four campuses celebrated the occasion along with their family and friends.

Penn-Co is a well-known construction firm who started out in Blumenort, southeast of Winnipeg, back in 1959. Today, they span the continent and have a number of significant projects underway in the Winnipeg area. Penn-Co also has a growing relationship with the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) which is helping our students get their start in the booming construction industry.

Shortly after graduation from MITT, Ms Campbell moved to The Netherlands where she began employment with The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as a Senior Technical Editor and Deputy Webmaster. Following 8 years in that position, she moved on to become the Web and Social Media Manager for Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium where she resides and works today.
